We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk   for our new shared services team based in Telford. The role will be responsible for responding to supplier queries, the receipt and processing, resolution of invoices, the preparation of payment run and the monitoring of vendor accounts.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:


  • Processing supplier purchase invoices and managing related queries.
  • Reconciling supplier invoices/statements and credit notes with payments and remittance advice notes
  • Processing weekly payment runs
  • Assisting with month end and year end closing
  • Expensing analysis and review of vendor records



Key skills & experience


  • Good knowledge of Excel including formulas and pivot tables and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • Ability to build effective working relationships – internal & external.
  • Flexible approach, able to work as part of a team
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Think clearly and deliver quickly.
  • Be persistent and resourceful and make things happen.
  • Attention to detail
