We are currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Analyst to join our  Muller Milk & Ingredients Driver Logistics business unit. We are looking for an experienced individual to support the Regional Financial Controller (RFC) with the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting.

 

In this role the key responsibilities will include:
• Support the Regional Financial Controller (RFC) in budgetary cost control, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting
• Preparation of management accounts and KPI’s
• Support weekly and monthly variance analysis to aid decision making
• Assist the RFC in all aspects of relationship management with third party suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Liaise with the site depot managers to understand core risks and opportunities
• Support the RFC in maintaining overall financial control and managing the risks within Logistics
• Introduce appropriate checks to ensure accurate reporting
• Responsibility for accuracy of financial data
• Responsible for generating reports including:
• Prepare for review monthly KPI summary
• Prepare monthly cost bridge causal
• Review monthly accounts before finalisation and advise of if any adhoc journals needed
• Prepare expense reports
• Prepare routine journals for period end
• Update initiative trackers
• Prepare weekly labour reports and submit
• Prepare weekly flash report
• Develop effective cross functional working relationships at all levels within the business
• Support RFC's to prepare budgets for region
• Support RFC's to prepare forecast for region
• Cover for others in the Regional Logistics Controlling team
• Support the RFC in ad-hoc projects and analysis

 

Key skills & experience
• Strong accounting background and comfortable with Financial Accounting principles.
• Analytical background able to provide insight from data.
• Hands on approach to Core IT systems and strong spreadsheet skills.

• Proven Experience in FMCG or manufacturing

• Ability to operate at all levels

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage and influence

• Self-starter with the ability to business partner and influence decision making within site leadership team.

• Needs to be a team player, but capable of working on own initiative, developing skills in new areas
