Müller Milk & Ingredients which aims to be Britain’s private label dairy leader and produces branded and private label fresh milk, cream, butter and ingredients products. It boasts a network of dairies and depots servicing customers throughout the country.

 

Müller Yogurt & Desserts which is the UK’s leading yogurt manufacturer which aims to create millions more Müller moments for its consumers. It is responsible for major brands like Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, FRijj and Müller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International. It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

 

We are seeking a well-organized and dynamic Logistics Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics or a related field and will support and co-ordinate various logistics administration tasks for the business.

 

Contract; Full time, Permanent

Location; Hybrid working

 

Logistics Administrator Key Responsibilities;

  1. Insurance Administration:
  • Track all insurance claims made.
  • Act as the central point of communication between sites and NFU (National Farmers’ Union).
  • Chase stakeholders for information to expedite the claims process.
  • Report on accidents, including the status of claims, to sites.
  • Analyse trend data related to accident frequency, location, and drivers.
  • Handle large claims and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with solicitors (DAS) and NFU.
  1. Central Administration:
  • Track spending for P-cards (procurement cards).
  • Chase and collect receipts for P-card transactions.
  • Code P-card claims in the Natwest portal.
  • Handle payments for PCNs (penalty charge notices), fines, DVS (Driver and Vehicle Standards) charges, and green air zone fines.
  • Manage the green air zone database.
  • Re-code fines to drivers as needed.
  • Recharge fines to agencies where applicable.
  • Maintain a list for taxing vehicles and keep it up to date.
  • File V5 documents (vehicle registration certificates).
  • Establish processes and governance related to insurance.
  1. 3rd Party Insurance Claims:
  • Chase internal stakeholders for information necessary to submit and process claims (e.g., garage repair estimates or actuals).
  • Liaise with solicitors (DAS) regarding outstanding claims.
  • Raise invoices for cash reclaimed into the business, ensuring accurate coding for the receiving site.
  • Track and report back to sites on the status of claims and cash flow.
  1. Agency Damage Recovery:
  • Ensure agencies receive notifications of accidents in line with driver negligence policy and process.
  • Act as the central point of communication between sites and NFU.
  • Chase internal stakeholders for information needed to process claims (e.g., garage repair estimates or actuals).
  • Chase monies coming back into the business from agencies.
  • Raise invoices for cash reclaimed into the business, ensuring accurate coding for the receiving site.
  • Track and report back to sites on the status of claims and cash flow.

 

Logistics Administrator Key Skills & Experience;

  • Excellent telephone manner and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in an administration role.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work across departments, ensuring efficient information communication and administration support.
