Acting as a strategic partner to the brand teams to ensure the voice of the consumer is at the heart of every decision made. Helping to create a competitive advantage in the market place through well researched, developed and consumer led insight


Your key responsibilities for the Senior Consumer Insights Manager:


  • Creating, leading & having full ownership for the consumer focused research program for the Treat pillar within the marketing function. This includes some of the UKs biggest and most loved brands including Muller Corner, Muller Rice, Muller Bliss and the Cadbury chilled desserts portfolio 
  • Bringing together consumer insights & category dynamics to help identify brand and category opportunities by using a variety of research sources including market segmentations, U&A studies, equity tracking, macro trends, category data & bespoke qualitative & quantitative research data
  • Working closely with the Head of Innovation to look for future white space category & brand opportunities for the brands within the Treat pillar
  • Working with the Consumer insights team to establish best practice research methodologies & capabilities
  • Managing a variety of agency partners to ensure that we maximise the breadth of knowledge & experience at our disposal


Key skills & experience for the Senior Consumer Insights Manager:


  • Significant experience of all forms of qualitative and quantitative research methodology's and studies
  • Experience of using Nielsen/IRI and Kantar data
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify consumer insights from large data sets
  • Experience of working in FMCG Consumer Insights at a managerial level
  • Evidence of Strategic involvement in previous roles
  • Strong project management skills, to be able to prioritise time and workload and be able to multitask in a pressurised environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Capacity to embrace and create change
