We currently have a exciting vacancy for a Marketing Manager. This role will enable growth for Muller through delivering and developing marketing plans. The role will require leading a cross functional category team to deliver in year delivery of the portfolio P&L and planning growth for a 3 year business horizon. The successful candidate will be a business leader for their brands and a thought leader for the marketing department.


The role is based at our Headquarters in Market Drayton, Shropshire - 35 minutes from Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury was voted one of the best places to live in the UK in 2019 by The Times).


Your  key responsibilities will be to:


  • In year delivery of results on portfolio (share, NSV, DB1, PC profit, defined brand equity measures)
  • Ownership and development of strategic framework for portfolio across a 3 year time horizon
  • Management, selection and negotiation of defined agency relationships
  • Full development and line management of their team of direct reports
  • Setting and owning the strategic framework for a portfolio of brands
  • Defining clear business and brand objectives for the year
  • Delivering the in year brand plan through their team
  • Delivering the in year portfolio P&L via the leadership of a cross functional category team. Recommending corrective action at Exec level to deliver plan
  • Monitoring and measuring performance of brand activity. Evaluating and recommending strategic directions for growth
  • Recommending and directing clear investment priorities across a portfolio of brands
  • Briefing agencies to deliver inspirational activity to consumers that drives world class brand preference, loyalty and growth


Key skills & experience


  • Essential: Extensive experience in an FMCG branded marketing function across all key aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Marketing qualification or relevant degree
  • Experience of successfully developing & progressing people
  • Experience of leading cross functional teams to drive growth
  • Experience of successfully influencing at Exec level
  • Highly self motivated, with a positive can do attitude
