We are currently looking to recruit for Goods-In Shift Leads to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients business at the Droitwich Dairy. The successful candidates will enable teams to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people. 


This position will involve 5 out of 7 shifts. 


Your Key Tasks

  • Creating and delivering development plans through Müller's learning management systems for your team. 
  • Creating succession and developmental pathways both up through and across the organisation
  • High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills
  • If issues arise, having a hands-on approach by visiting the workstation when called upon to help rectify to problem 
  • Coaching team members, enabling them and supporting them to solve problems
  • Enabling the team to create and deliver operational excellence opportunities
  • Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace
  • Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives
  • Supports team to demonstrate operational excellence contribution through the personal development plan process 


Your Responsibilites

  • People management including the delivery of performance review, development and coaching of the team, dealing with employee relations issues
  • Create purpose and direction around objectives, goals, strategies, measures and deliverables
  • Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives and knows how current performance impacts the bottom line
  • Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business
  • Health and safety commitment demonstrated through “go, look, see” and always puts in place corrective actions
  • Deep knowledge of operational excellence
  • Utilises all available opportunities, enabling others to improve the way we do things
