It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

We are seeking a Despatch Picker/Loader to join our Warehouse team. 
This role is crucial in ensuring that our products are picked and loaded efficiently and accurately for our customers.

Location - Bellshill 
Contract - Full-Time / Permanent 
Salary - £12.21 per hour/ Weekly Pay
Shift premiums -  1.25x Saturday working, 1.5x Sunday working, 2x Bank holiday pay and 23% unsociable pay 6pm – 4pm 
Shift Pattern – 5 out of 7 days 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00 ( 1 week days/ 1 week backs) 

The ideal candidate will have pick and packing experience within a chilled warehouse and have experience using a voice picking machine (not essential). 
You will need to be self motivated as well as be able to work within a team 
 

Main Responsibilities:

• Pick products using paper picking lists and Voice picking systems.
• Load products into trailers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately complete all transactions related to order picking and loading using AS400.
• Ensure stock rotation and use products within Minimum Life on Receipt (MLOR).
• Assist in daily stock counting and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained at temperatures below 5°C before and during loading.
• Follow all site food safety and hygiene rules.
• Utilize the STAR card system and Docksafe system for safety compliance.
• Stand in for the coordinator when required.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in despatch or cold store work is desirable.
• High standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Experience with AS400 and operating a pick system.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate problems effectively.
• Capability and accountability in stock control.
