 Senior National Account Manager – Grocery

To help us on this journey, we are looking for a first-class Senior National Account Manager who is passionate, creative and ambitious and can help drive the continued revenue growth of our key Grocery customers. The Ideal candidate will have extensive and relevant experience in Grocery account management combined with a relentless pursuit for better.

This role is responsible for driving the continued revenue growth of across two key Grocery retailers with high growth potential, reporting into the Head of Business Unit.

 

Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for a strong relationship builder, with a track record of delivering growth within the UK grocery channel. Ideally operating at a Senior NAM level, the candidate would be looking for a role to challenge them with true ownership & accountability and the potential to progress to Controller level.

 

This key strategic role is responsible for growing our business across customers.

 

  • £10 million+ P&L responsibility
  • Ability to create, negotiate & execute win/win JBPs
  • Business Development to secure new retail opportunities across the retailer channels
  • Lead multi-functional retailer engagement, particularly Category, Brand & Innovation, Supply & Shopper Marketing
  • Maximise range and distribution
  • Launch transformational product innovation
  • Best in class day to day account management
  • Effective cross functional collaboration

 

The ideal candidate has:

 

  • Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience in Grocery accounts
  • A strong commercial mindset with a retailer/shopper first approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving SME, thriving under pace
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Excellent data and analytical skills, with confident use of Excel
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise their workload effectively

 

Team structure and location:

 

  • Reports into: Head of BU
  • Location: Hammersmith (London)
  • Office-days: in the London office three days per week
  • Travel: to UK based retailers/agencies as required
