We are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our newly created shared service team based at our Telford site.  


Sales Ledger Assistant - Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor all cash received through Autobank and manage all exceptions ensuring reconciliation of customer payments and accurate sales ledger
  • Support and manage customers that are transferring to the online platform
  • Process of supplier invoices
  • Communicate relevant key issue information to the management team
  • Ensure processes are maintained and performed accurately and in accordance with policy
  • Execute Direct Debit payments
  • Consistently provide a high level of service to customers both external and internal
  • Additional admin duties such as reporting, manual invoicing, scanning and filing


Sales Ledger Assistant - Key skills & experience:

  • Financial systems (SAP, AS400)
  • FMCG experience
  • Confident negotiating skills
  • Understanding of finance processes
  • PC literate (Microsoft Office essential) intermediate/advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding/enforcement of Business Compliance Policies
  • Accurate
  • Analytical
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Movex/SOP
