We are currently recruiting for an OTC Risk Analyst to join our newly created shared service team based at our Telford site.  


Key responsibilities of a Risk Analyst include:

  • Undertake quality credit risk assessments, within agreed service levels, as necessary for both and existing portfolio of customers alongside new customer applications (including applications for increased/additional facilities) and ensuring completion on a timely basis
  • Formulate recommendations for approval via appropriate sanctioning authority, including communicating decisions / rationale in a clear and concise manner
  • Proactively engage with both internal and external stakeholders, finding solutions to business propositions and where ever possible, maximising loss mitigation


Potential to add:

  • Analyse trends on turnover and debtors to increase awareness and proactive management of customer risk levels
  • Attend regular industry credit forums to gain a wider knowledge of our customer base associated risk
  • Develop predictive models to support the growth of the business
  • Production and ongoing enhancement of credit risk and financial reporting, providing timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reports and updates to management


Key skills & experience:

  • Financial systems (SAP)
  • FMCG experience
  • Confident Negotiating skills
  • Understanding of finance processes
  • PC literate (Microsoft Office Essential) Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
  • Understanding/Enforcement of Business Compliance Policies
  • Accurate.
  • Analytical
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
