Operations Training Manager – 18 Month FTC

 

Contract: 18 month Fixed-Term Contract

What you'll be doing

  • Create a site-wide skills and training gap analysis, identifying completed training and future development needs by role
  • Partner with site stakeholders to ensure mandatory training compliance and build an effective system for tracking and managing refresher training
  • Develop and maintain a robust Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library, including document control, validation and employee sign-off processes
  • Embed new systems and processes into everyday ways of working, supporting managers through communication and rollout activities
  • Own and continuously improve the site induction programme, ensuring new starters receive the right training from day one
  • Create clear development and progression pathways to support employee growth
  • Build strong relationships with external training providers and manage the site's training budget
  • Ensure all training activities meet quality, compliance and audit requirements
  • Develop and report on KPIs to measure training effectiveness and engagement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records across the site

 

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong training, learning and development or capability-building experience
  • Experience creating and implementing training frameworks, systems and processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with SOPs, compliance standards and audit requirements
  • Data-driven approach with experience using KPIs to measure success
  • Passion for developing people and driving continuous improvement
