Business Support Manager
Location: Skelmersdale
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
A brand-new opportunity has been created within our organisation chart! We are looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Manager to join our team at Skelmersdale. This is an exciting chance to shape a new role and make a real impact on how we operate.
About the Role
As Business Support Manager, you will be the driving force behind the processes that keep our site running smoothly. You’ll manage and develop a small team, oversee key support services, and ensure everything from supplier contracts to site inductions is delivered efficiently. This role is all about creating value, improving ways of working, and supporting the site to achieve its targets.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and develop the business support team.
- Oversee third-party contracts (cleaning, laundry, gatehouse, gardening) and invoicing.
- Coordinate hospitality and site inductions for new starters.
- Maintain stock control and ordering of site sundries.
- Act as site communication champion and manage key systems (e.g., Q Pulse).
- Drive continuous improvement through Operational Excellence projects.

- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on improvement and efficiency.
- Experience in administration, coordination, or similar support roles.
