Title:  Retained Recruitment Advisor

We currently have a 12 month fixed term contract for a Retained Recruitment Advisor. The role will be responsible for facilitating and collaborating with hiring managers throughout the authorised recruitment process, liaising and building trusted agency partner relationships, and creating and maintaining  an excellent candidate experience, from application through to onboarding. You will manage and take ownership for finding the right candidates across numerous business functions, and utilise a suite of various attraction plans.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Full ownership of Success Factors recruitment requisitions when activated in work flow through to verbal offer & raising the proforma to shared service for contract. To include ensuring data integrity of the business tracking systems, ensuring data is captured in a consistent and auditable way, including ensuring GDPR policy is followed.
  • Conducting recruitment planning calls with hiring managers, assessing the needs of the role, manager and external market intelligence and being a source of specialist advice to ensure quality and suitability of recruitment activity are recommended and agreed.
  • Educating new hiring managers on full process and also recommending suitable assessment & selection methods appropriate to vacancy needs.
  • Activate and fully utilise all appropriate direct routes to market, including job boards, discussing internal options and succession planning, using the hiring manager and their teams LinkedIn connections and networks, direct headhunting on job boards and any appropriate professional publications.
  • Hiring managers across all Business Units. This is to ensure that once a timeline of activity has been agreed, all parties adhere to it and any questions on CV sifting, process, candidates etc are answered and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Building collaborative relationships with Agency Partners in all disciplines. Engaging a 3rd party when required by the business needs and ensuring that the service they provide is in keeping with process but also that they have all the tools and knowledge to represent the brand correctly on the market. Raising any issues to the Recruitment Business Partner.
  • Ownership of candidate experience - keeping timely contact with candidates in process, ensure all questions are answered, package and expectations have been discussed and negotiated (if necessary) and company culture, environment and ethics are promoted for Employer branding.
  • Being a recruitment ambassador for the company at recruitment fairs, schools, colleges, workshops, open days and seminars.

 

Key skills & experience

 

  • Minimum 1 year recruitment experience either in-house or in a recruitment agency
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Proven experience of managing a diverse workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of servicing internal /external stakeholders
  • Tenacious and driven approach having the confidence to challenge
