We are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager in our Yogurts and Desserts business in Shropshire. This is a hybrid role based between home and our offices in Market Drayton.   As a NAM you’ll drive, facilitate and engage both internal and external stakeholders towards this vision, showcasing your expertise and bringing them on the journey. We’re looking for a NAM with experience of account management (preferably within a Top 4 Grocer or pureplayer), P&L ownership who is a strategic thinking entrepreneur with demonstrated financial and commercial acumen.


National Account Manager - Key responsibilities will include:


  • Deliver timely and accurate development and delivery of long term strategic joint business plans and account deliverables
  • Identify profitable opportunities and deliver through negotiation to exceed sales targets
  • Deliver clear briefing of account requirements and recommendations to key stakeholders (example: NPD process, Finance, Line management)
  • Deliver clear monthly sales business reviews; recognise gaps, recommend actions to close, identify need for help and support, define clear action plans
  • Deliver customer agreements to time/deadline
  • Translate dynamic market/customer insight into customer action plans
  • Organise category reviews with customers and be responsible for the quality of your accounts digital shelf
