Hours/Shift Pattern: 8am- 4pm, Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:  

This placement offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing raw materials within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials through the supply chain, supporting product launches, recipe changes, and delists. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help to manage all aspects of designated raw materials through weekly MRP run, whilst helping to monitor & control product re-launches, new product introductions, de list and recipe amends and maintain optimal stock levels and contribute to successful project delivery.  

Key tasks & responsibilities include: 

Order & Inventory Management  

• Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders as needed  

• Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials  

• Identify & resolve discrepancies in inventory records  

• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, and Demand Planning to ensure material availability  

Project Management  

• Follow critical path timelines for new product development (NPD), and delists, maintaining optimal levels of stock coverage  

• Identify any stock issues that may impact the successful launch or delists of SKUs  

• Collaborate with Project, Commercial, and Artwork teams to ensure right-first-time (RFT) for all projects  

What we're looking for: 

Müller are looking for confident students with an analytical mindset for this 13-month placement. We’re seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a placement year role.

• Technical proficiency: Competence with Microsoft office and digital tools  

• UK Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least one year   

• UK Residency: Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
