We’re recruiting … Farm Service Centre Advisor


We are recruiting at our Market Drayton Farm Services Team for a Farm Service Centre Advisor to provide an efficient point of co-ordination for all MMI farmer services administration and data collation, for both internal and external communication.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide an accessible, responsive, and professional support service for farmers
  • Act as the first operational point of contact for Müller’s farmers
  • Administration of farmer contracts, milk statements, and personalised farmer letters/communications
  • Process ad-hoc adjustments
  • Assistance with provision of farmer information to Farm Supply team
  • FSC activity in line with the approved processes and procedures
  • Effective and efficient response to day-to-day farmer queries
  • Ensure the automatic downloads of milk supply volumes and laboratory results are complete for farmer payments
  • Review the farmers’ forecast production data
  • Provide support for recruitment activity and planning as required
  • Follow up and process recruitment leads as required in line with the agreed business messages and volume targets
  • Monitor milk quality information and exceptions in both a proactive and reactive manner, reconciliation of missing samples and weighted averages
  • Verification and reconciliation of data and information to ensure timely farmer payments
  • Liaison with hauliers and milk testing bodies, ensuring all queries are actioned and resolved within the required timescale


Shift Patterns

  • Monday - Friday, there will be various start and finish times to ensure the office is covered between the hours of 07:30 – 17:30


Key skills & experience

  • Good administrative and communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Competent IT skills – especially in the use of MS Word and Excel
  • Sound knowledge of dairy farming issues and farming calendar
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Previous experience of SAP is desirable
