We are looking an experienced Engineering Service Leader to join us at Market Drayton to supervise and carry out maintenance and improvement activities.
The ideal candidate will ensure the continued delivery of manufacturing service levels through both reactive and preventative maintenance and have strong people management skills along with a wealth of knowledge in Process and Services within a manufacturing environment.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:
• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Delegate maintenance tasks across the team.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and prioritize tasks.
• Manage Multi-Vendor Suppliers for efficient site stores inventory management.
• Complete all line manager tasks for the respective shift team.
• Provide engineering expertise to assigned areas (e.g., effluent plant, engineering stores, process and filling plant/equipment).
Key skills & experience:
• Expertise in delivering maintenance to Process and Service systems and equipment in a GMP/food manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge and experience of compliance systems e.g. PSSR, LOLER.
• Significant experience in leading and developing a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-direction and personal drive.
• Effective team-working and leadership abilities.
• High integrity and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills.
