The Müller brand is ranked at No.7 in The Grocer's Top 100 list of Britain's Biggest Brands, and is also the 7th most chosen brand in the UK.

We are looking for talented individuals who are keen to pursue a career within logistics and train to become HGV C+E Drivers. We are recruiting for HGV Driver apprentices at our site based in Manchester, with a potential start date of October/November 2021. This amazing opportunity is not just a job; it will provide you with the knowledge and skills to develop a long-lasting career as a logistics professional.

Müller Milk and Ingredients Distribution delivers around 30% of the fresh milk consumed in Britain every day and it takes a lot of talent and organisation in order to achieve this. Our HGV Drivers play a crucial role to enable us to be efficient in the job that we do and ensure that our milk gets from farm to fridge.

We work in partnership with Transplant Master Train to deliver a 12-month training programme which will result in you becoming a fully-fledged member of our Driver team. We’ll expect you to work hard and be 100% committed, but you will have the support and guidance of fellow colleagues, Driver Trainers and Transport management to help you grow and fulfil your full potential.

Our Apprenticeship Programme combines technical skills training, academic study and work-based learning including job shadowing. Bringing learning and earning together, not only will you study towards obtaining a nationally-recognised qualification, you’ll earn a good salary which increases as you pass key training milestones. You will also develop new skills and gain invaluable knowledge and experience including the achievement of a Category C+E licence and DCPC qualification.

We will work with you in line with a comprehensive training plan to help you get your Driving career with Müller off to the best possible start. However you’ll also need to be flexible with your hours of work, for example you will initially join the business working Monday to Friday whilst you undertake your technical training and licence acquisition; however after obtaining your Category C licence we would support you to gain more practical driving experience which would involve moving onto a specific shift pattern within the Driving rota alongside your fellow Driver colleagues.

If you are thinking of making a career change then look no further and join Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution today to begin a long-standing career as a HGV C+E Driver.
