Electrically Biased Engineering Technician Wanted!

Location: Manchester Dairy
Contract: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (7-7: 2 days/2 nights/4 off)

Your Mission:

• Keep Us Running: Provide top-notch reactive maintenance.
• Be a Detective: Pinpoint root causes and get our gear back in action.
• Innovate: Find and implement cost-effective improvements.
• Collaborate: Ensure smooth shift handovers and work as ONE TEAM.
• Diagnose & Fix: Test, repair, and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Report: Keep an eye out for defects and log data.
• Lead: Drive shift-based problem-solving.
• Coach: Train operators on asset care.
• Improve: Use 5WHY and RCA techniques for lasting solutions.
• Organise: Support 5S programs for workshops and stores.

What You Bring:

• Engineering apprenticeship.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical/Electrical expertise.
• ONC/HNC qualifications.
• IOSH/NEBOSH (a plus).
• Electrical qualifications.
• Proven multi-skilled engineering experience.
