We are currently recruiting for a home based Project Process Manager to work within the Commercial Team of our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.  Essentially this role is at the heart of the business.  You will support the planning and execution of the MMI project portfolio, whilst interfacing with the many different functions within the business. 

 

Project Process Manager: Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide full product portfolio governance for the business, supporting project managers to run their projects
  • Maintain internal visibility of all product, packaging and artwork projects that run within MMI
  • Lead Operational Gate Meetings
  • Representing Portfolio Governance at key project meetings
  • Provide portfolio support by owning Clarity (internal database), ensuring accuracy from Project Managers– Gates dates and Workflow status
  • Critique and advise process improvements (continual improvement), esp. Gate document submissions
  • Identify and support linkages across multiple projects (including Branded and Private Label)
  • Manage cross-business project submissions, ensuring Project Leaders are advised on gate dates and submission requirements
  • Serve as Project Co-ordinator on large complex projects which stretch across multiple MMI customers & functions (e.g. Operations, Planning, Commercial, Technical, Logistics etc.)

 

Project Process Manager: Key Skills and Experience

 

  • Minimum 2-3 years of Project Process/Portfolio Governance/Product Management, ideally within FMCG

 

  • Experience of managing projects through from concept to launch would be beneficial

 

  • Breadth of thinking, tenacious, with a curious mindset, able to challenge the norm and be persistent, whilst following things through

 

  • Competent in using Excel and databases (training will be provided)

 

  • Good collaborator, but equally self-sufficient and able to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail

 

  • Self-motivated and delivery focused

 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and prioritise to multiple deadlines
