Who is Müller Milk & Ingredients:
Müller Milk & Ingredients (MMI) is the UK’s largest producer of branded and private label fresh milk, cream, butter, and dairy ingredients. As part of Müller UK & Ireland, MMI supplies around 30% of Britain’s fresh milk and operates a nationwide network of dairies and depots.

What you'll be doing:
Müller is seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Management Intern to join our team. As a leading FMCG company, project management plays a critical role in driving efficiency, innovation and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in managing diverse business projects, support the delivery of key strategic initiatives and to build knowledge across a diverse range of stakeholder functions.
At Müller, we take Project Management seriously. Our Commercial Project Team oversees project methodologies, tools and training, while managing large-scale, complex projects such as launching new manufacturing lines, releasing innovative new products, or implementing cost-saving initiatives across the business. As an intern, you’ll be part of a business function, working closely with teams to define, plan and execute impactful projects.
Key tasks & responsibilities include:

Project Identification: Collaborate with local business teams to identify potential projects that drive value for the business

Planning & Analysis: Perform initial project scoping and engage with other departments to support detailed planning activities

Project Management: Develop and track comprehensive project plans, manage key milestones, and understand project dependencies

Methodology & Tools: Follow Müller’s established project methodology and utilize tools such as the Clarity PM system

Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of any issues

Stakeholder Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and performance

Team Collaboration & Relationship Building: Provide support to senior project managers and the wider stakeholder team within projects

Collaborative Group Projects: Work alongside other placement students on a group project, enhancing teamwork and problem-solving skills
What we're looking for:
This placement is ideal for students with a passion for project management, who are eager to learn and contribute to real-world business projects. We’re seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a placement year role.

UK Residency: Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
