We are recruiting for a Gatehouse Operative to join our friendly team at our Droitwich Dairy

We are looking for an experienced individual with strong customer service focus and ability of championing safe working practices in line with our policies and guidelines.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Salary from £30,515.94 to 32,922.89

Shift Patterns: 4 on 4 off ( 2 days- 2 nights 6-6) and Mon-Fri 5.30am-2pm  

Location: Droitwich

Key responsibilities as a Gatehouse Operative will include: 

• Ensuring all visitors to site sign in as per requirements and the relevant person is contacted on their arrival.
• Ensure all tankers of raw milk and cream that arrive on site meet there booking time slot and have the correct paperwork.
• Weighbridge operation and completion of weighbridge transactions.
• Handling calls to the site, resolving or re-directing queries to the appropriate department.
• Completion of thorough handover for next shift.

• A positive attitude, taking an enthusiastic, pro-active approach, communicating effectively at all levels with customers and key stakeholders
• Display role-model behaviours, delivering a consistently excellent level of customer service in a timely, professional manner
• Well presented with a friendly and helpful manner
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
• Experience within a Gatehouse Operative / Security Officer role or similar
• Good organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
• Demonstrate an aptitude and desire to learn and develop
• Willingness to undertake appropriate training as necessary
• Experience and ability to use various IT systems
