Droitwich

Permanent contract: 42 hours per week:

Mondays & Tuesdays: 8am – 6pm

Thursday & Fridays: 8am – 7pm

We are looking to recruit a Craft Engineer to join our Droitwich Dairy within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business. As a Craft Engineer you’ll provide a maintenance service to all plant/manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on the improved plant availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities as Craft Engineer:

• • Responsible for mechanical and basic electrical isolation
  • Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance activities
  • Bring new ideas to ensure continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment  
  • Advise on engineering practice and maintenance issues within engineering
  • Participate/lead BDRs, SEA and RCA requirement as part of a team

What we’re looking for from a Craft Engineer:

• • NVQ2 or equivalent in basic engineering
  • Relevant engineering experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of a specific work task
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team
