We are currently recruiting in our Irish Commercial Team for a Customer Category Manager on a fixed term contract. This role will be home based and will establish, retain and develop Category Management relationships with key national retailers.

 

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

 

•            Develop and implement tailored merchandising solutions optimising the category opportunity for customers

•            Advise customers on all elements of the marketing mix within Chilled Desserts

•            Provide insight to the business regarding the promotions, product availability and price

•            Drive change programmes to improve promotional efficiency

•            Develop and manage systems for data collection and distribution

•            Ensure that Muller are the first point of contact for category insight

•            Evaluate and optimise promotional performance within specified account ensuring the retailer pursues a strategy that adds value

•            Develop and implement merchandising solutions

•            Maintain and sustain agenda and effective relationships

 

 

Key skills & experience

 

•           Min of 3-5 years Customer Category management experience essential and ideally in a fast paced FMCG manufacturing and retail

•            Experience of planogram systems desirable

•            Dunnhumby and EYC data experience desirable

•            Degree qualified in appropriate discipline or equivalent experience

•            Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

•            Strong communication & interpersonal skills

•            Strong analytical skills & problem solving capability

•            Strong team player

•            High level of accuracy, numeracy & attention to detail

•            Keen desire to support change & to drive improvement

•            Flexible, resilient & challenging
