Title:  Process Operative L3

Join our Dairy Production team at our Bridgwater site and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of milk processing activities.  

This role involves operating and monitoring dairy processing equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient and consistent production. 

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be responsible for supporting milk intake, processing, product quality, hygiene and operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

The position also requires carrying out butterfat, cream, FPD and chemical testing to ensure products meet required quality specifications.  

Using SCADA and APV systems, you’ll manage production processes, monitor performance and identify and resolve process or equipment faults to support continuous operation. 

You’ll also: 

• support production by ensuring a consistent supply of milk to filling operations 

• complete cleaning and CIP activities to maintain hygiene and operational efficiency 

• accurately record operational data and support KPI delivery 

• maintain high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene and GMP practices 

• follow all health, safety and environmental procedures 

• identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions 

• support a positive safety culture across the site 

• report milk, water or air leaks promptly and effectively. 

What you’ll need 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or process environment is beneficial but not essential. 

• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP principles is advantageous. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. 

• Good communication and teamwork skills. 

• Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Willingness to learn and undertake training and development opportunities.
