We are currently recruiting a Process and Automation Technician at our Bridgwater site to provide support in processing, automation and improvement activities.

 

Purpose

 

Ensuring efficient, reliable operation of all site assets. Up-skilling of Engineers in automation and support the site automation Engineer on projects and general day to day running of the factory. Be proficient in SCADA and all processing equipment and be able to support, train and coach new and existing Engineers in the kit and processes. Be subject matter experts in pumps, valves, heat exchangers, separators and all other plant you would associate with a large scale processing operation. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and provide support to trouble shooting on Processing and Automation related activities
  • Provide support to the shift leads with team training activities
  • Support breakdowns relating to Process and Automation plant. Required to be subject matter expert. Key support in RCA process delivery and standard running conditions.
  • Responsible for in house training of engineering technicians, in support of the onboarding and retainment process
  • Responsible for corrective maintenance, to ensure all outstanding work is completed.
  • Continuously recommend improvements and feedback to ensure maintenance schedules are more efficient

 

 Key skills & experience

 

  • Engineering Background/fault finding
  • Rockwell/Siemens fault finding all processing competencies. High level of knowledge/experience with PDC Sleevers, Stork Fillers and Tetrapak
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Subject matter experts in Process plant and automation
