Title:  Milk Intake Operative

We are recruiting for a Milk Intake Operative to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients business at our Bridgwater Dairy. 

We are looking for a self-motivated individual whose purpose will be to ensure the smooth running of; the raw milk intake, cream export, reclaim area and chemical offload area. Carry out lab testing to; analyse, record and report results in relation to all required processing lab tests. 

Contract: Full Time / Perm 

 
Salary: starting from £ 32,922.89 per annum  

Shift Pattern:  4 on 4 off – 2 days/ 2 Nights (6-6) 

Location: Bridgwater 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles 

• Replenishment of chemicals  

• Sampling of FMT’s  

• Exporting of bulk cream to tankers  

• Maintain hygiene of processing area  

• Contribute to the off loading of raw milk, exporting of cream and chemical offload 

• Work with site teams to deliver improvement projects, activities and events aligned to the companies' objectives and goals.  

• Support and contribute to all department & site PMS activities  

• Support any new system, structure or process improvement projects  

• Help maintain good workplace organization and visual management  

• Demonstrate commitment to Health & Safety by challenging unsafe practices, raising hazards and responding promptly and effectively to all hazards raised by others  

• Ensure that all relevant data is captures and recorded timeously
