Production Operative

4 on 4 off: 2 days, 2 nights (6-6)

£15.73 per hour / £32,922.89 per annum

1.5 x basic hourly rate for overtime

Join Müller – shaping the future of dairy production.

We’re looking for a Bottle Supply Operative to join our automated production team. This is a vital role ensuring bottles are prepared and supplied to our filling lines, keeping production running smoothly.

The shift pattern for this position involves working on a 4 on 4 off basis: 2 days (6AM-6PM) followed by 2 nights (6PM-6AM) followed by 4 off. 

What you’ll do

• Operate and monitor automated bottle supply equipment.
• Load bottles onto conveyors and manage flow to filling lines.
• Complete quality checks and traceability paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Report faults and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the film utilised for packing is of an acceptable standard and comply with specification in colour and size according to product type

What we’re looking for

• Factory or production experience (food or beverage preferred).
• Comfortable working in an automated warehouse with robots, conveyor belts, and metal stacks.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn niche machinery.
• Ability to work shifts and wear PPE.
• Comfortable working in high-temperature and noisy environments
