Seasonal Warehouse Operative

Fixed-Term Contract: 9th October 2026 – 9th January 2027 

Due to the seasonal nature of the role, applicants must be available to work for the full duration of the contract.

Location: Amesbury (Depot), Solar Way, Solstice Park, Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4 7SZ

Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour plus shift premiums.

Overtime: £19.29 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week
Shifts: Fixed hours, 5 days over 7. Various shifts available including mornings, afternoons and nights.

About the Role

We're looking for motivated and hardworking Seasonal Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a fixed-term contract (39 guaranteed hours weekly with overtime opportunities)  from 9th October 2026 to 9th January 2027.

This role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Full PPE is provided, and employees are welcome to wear additional thermal clothing, hats and gloves for comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders using a voice-picking system
• Moving heavy milk trolleys throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
• Working as part of a fast-paced warehouse team to meet daily targets

What We're Looking For

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Comfortable moving heavy trolleys loaded with milk, containing up to 80 bottles per trolley
• Reliable, committed and able to work as part of a team
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
• Experience using a voice-picking system would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
